Who We Are

Stonemasonry isn’t just what we do - it’s who we are.

We’ve mastered our craft across generations of passed down knowledge and skills from stonemason to stonemason, honouring traditional methods and upholding centuries of craftsmanship that can only be learned through hands-on dedication.

After moving to the Bellarine Peninsula from Daylesford, our expertise and quality work are still highly sought after in Victoria’s Goldfields region and Macedon Ranges.

Crafting the iconic ‘Hepburn Springs’ sign is just one of the proud legacy pieces we’ve built, and we can’t wait to create new masterpieces in the Greater Geelong region.

Why we love what we do

There’s a unique feeling we get that comes from somewhere deep and ancient when we build structures with the character to draw the eye, the warmth to bring people together, and the quality that will outlast the generations beyond us. That feeling is chiselled into every piece of stone we handle.

About Jack Dudley

Owner and operator of Dudley Stone, Jack has always been fascinated by stonework and jumped at the opportunity to be taught the ancient trade of stonemasonry in his early years.

Drawn to the versatility and enduring nature of a material used over many thousands of years, stone just makes sense to Jack.

Jack owes the foundations of his stonemasonry skillset to his Uncle, Les Futo from Futo Stone, who taught him the trade. The work he produces today is a testament to his uncle’s support, teachings, and guidance throughout the years.

Jack is a proud family man at heart and adores spending his time with his five beautiful children and wife, creating memories and building legacies.

Taking an enormous amount of pride in his craft, Jack’s reputation is set in stone for bringing visions to life and creating areas that will be enjoyed by people long after he’s gone.
